What is Kaphiy

What is Kaphiy

  • It's not a social network or a catalog of other people's coffees. There are no ratings or opinions from strangers here, only your own judgment. Every bag and every cup you log gets saved with your photos, your notes, and the real memory of that moment, building up, little by little, the collage of your own coffee journey. It's not about finding the best coffee in the world, but remembering which one was the best for you.

  • Everything you log is saved straight to your phone, never to an external server. You don't need to create an account, you don't need an internet connection, and no one but you has access to your coffee history. Your journal is exactly that, yours.

  • A bag of coffee you brew at home and a cup you order at a café don't get logged the same way, and Kaphiy gets that. When you log a bag, you'll find fields built for it, like origin and roast level. When you log a cup, the fields switch to drink type, size, and the name of the café. Everything adapts automatically to what you're actually having, so logging a coffee feels as easy as drinking it.

Two ways to drink coffee, one journal

Logging a bag of coffee you bought to brew at home isn't the same as logging the cup you had while catching up with someone at a new café. That's why, when you choose bag, Kaphiy asks for the origin, the roast level, and the price per gram, exactly what you need to compare bags against each other over time. When you choose cup, it asks for the drink type, the size, and the name of the café, so that memory stays complete. No generic forms that don't fit what you're actually having, every entry feels made to measure for the moment.

Collages of your best moments

Build a collage with the photos from each coffee. Arrange them however you like, pick the template you like best, and add a handwritten comment to each photo, just like a real polaroid. Once it looks the way you want, download it to your gallery and share it wherever you like, on social media, with whoever you had that coffee with, or just to keep it. On the free plan you can use up to 5 photos per coffee, and with Kaphiy Premium, up to 10. It's the truest way to remember how that moment felt, not just how the coffee looked.

With Kaphiy Premium, your statistics open up completely. Discover your favorite roast, how much you've spent on coffee, how many coffees you've logged, and how many are still waiting in your wishlist, always keeping bags and cups separate so each one makes sense on its own. Browse your history by month, by year, or all time since you started, and find on a map the countries of origin of your bags and the cafés where you had each cup. From right there you can open your coffee calendar, move month by month, and tap any day to relive what coffee you had and where. Your coffee history, turned into numbers and memories that really tell your story.

Does Kaphiy work without an internet connection?

Yes. Kaphiy works 100% offline. All your coffees, photos, and notes are saved directly on your phone, not on an external server.

Is it free?

Yes. Kaphiy is free forever, with room for up to 10 coffees in your journal and up to 5 photos per coffee. If you want unlimited coffees and photos, plus advanced statistics with maps and a calendar, you can unlock Premium with a one-time payment.

What's the difference between logging a coffee bag and a cup of coffee?

Bag is for the coffee you buy and brew at home. You log the origin, roast, and price per gram. Cup is for the coffee you have at a café. You log the drink type, the size, and the name of the place. Kaphiy adapts the fields based on the type you choose.

How many photos can I save for free per coffee?

Up to 5 photos per coffee on the free plan, enough to put together a collage. With Premium, up to 10.

Does Kaphiy store my data on any server?

No. Kaphiy doesn't upload, share, or store your information on external servers. Everything, including your photos, is saved locally on your device, under your control.

Is Premium a subscription?

No. Premium is a one-time payment. You buy it once and it stays unlocked forever, with no renewals or recurring charges.

Is Kaphiy available on iOS?

For now, Kaphiy is only available for Android, through Google Play.

Is Kaphiy a social network?

What does the name Kaphiy mean?

Kaphiy comes from Quechua and evokes the essence of coffee. We chose that name because that's exactly what the app was born for, so that every coffee you try leaves behind more than a taste, it leaves a memory.
